GLOBAL PANDEMIC NETWORK. CITIES, ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS
The proposed panel aims to present to the global ICON community some of the key research outputs of the Global Pandemic Network, and especially its working groups on Cities, Environment and Human Rights. The Global Pandemic Network is an international network in the field of human sciences, which aims to bring together distinguished academics and experts with the purpose of mutually exchanging research and information on pandemics, engaging in in-depth discussions, and proposing solutions for decision makers based on the analysis of best practices and comparison of experiences. As a newly established Global Network, the GPN has shaken up the global debate on political-legal-socio-economic recovery by supporting and enhancing the role of research. Papers presented in the panel will be published in a special issue of the International Journal of Human Rights and in Legal Policy & Pandemics. The Journal of the Global Pandemic Network.
