Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Peer Review But Were Afraid to Ask
It is most common that in the process of appointment, promotion and tenure articles published in Peer Reviewed journals carry more weight. It can make a real difference to the academic progress, especially of early career scholars. There is, however, still much „mistery“ and doubts about this institution. How does it work, how are peer reviewers selected, what happens when peer reviewers disagree, does it really serve any useful purpose – the list can go on. Joseph Weiler, Co-Editor in Chief of ICON and EJIL, will give his views and answer questions. This workshop will take place in person at the University of Wrocław.
