This panel is supposed to ponder some crucial topics on the jurisprudence of this relevant Court related with democracy and political system: (1) The Ecuadorian Court‘s attribution to declare related legal norms unconstitutional as a case of cross fertilization between models of constitutional review – (2) Arbitration\, challenge of arbitral awards\, constitutional control\, current state of constitutional jurisprudence – (3) Constitutional Control on State of Emergency during Covid-19 – and (4) relation between constitutional justice and pathologies of democracy.
