DESCRIPTION:The panel brings together contributions from researchers on the relations of companies with human rights and the negative and positive impacts they can generate. The discussions address the three pillars of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights\, establishing states’ limitations in this region to regulate the topic – the absence of incentives for companies to adopt conducts respectful of human rights and the difficulties of access to the different redress mechanisms.
